Philately is the study of revenue and postage stamps. This includes the design, production and uses of stamps after they are authorized for issue, usually by government officials such as postal authorities.
Walsall Security Printers have been printing stamps and related firs day covers and presentation packs since 1964. Security printing and especially philatelic printing is a very secure process which we take very seriously. It is essential, particularly with some stamps which may be printed up to six months in advance of their issue, that every aspect of the fulfilment process is tracked and recorded. Walsall Security Printers has therefore developed and installed fully comprehensive monitoring and documentation systems to ensure the security of both the premises, stock and all work in progress.
